Week 10 is Behind Us

*Do note these standing were before the Monday night game of which NY Giants beat Cincinnati Bengals.*

Week 10 is behind us, and we might have seen some of the best football this season. With many saying the Dallas, Pittsburgh game was as of now the game of the week. The only game this season with 7 lead changes and a significant late surge by Dak Prescott and company with only .42 seconds left. Many thought the game was over after the fake spike and perfect pass to Antonio Brown for the lead Touchdown. After that great game, you saw how Seattle is coming around as a team. The Patriots found themselves this time on the 1 and not being able to get the win.

The Broncos, Saints game was just as exciting. That is if you're a Broncos fan. A blocked FG ran back for 2-points to win the game was incredible. The Chiefs, Panthers, was another close game as well with Kansas City able to pull it by 3. Also, Texans outing the Jaguars by 3, and the Cardinals barely beating the 49ers also by an FG

So to have an interesting conversation how accurate do you think the left picture is. I have to say that Dallas and Seahawks look to be a realistic NFC Championship game. I still think New England is one of the Elite teams in the NFL (most likely favorite to win it all), but I don't know about Oakland reaching the AFC Championship game. If Alex Smith can stay healthy and do more than managing a game, I'd like Kansas City with that dominant defense to possibly meet the Pats.

If I had to guess, I still think it'll be the Pats, and the Cowboys in the Superbowl with it being an offense match-up, but at the end of the day. Tom Brady is bringing his team to victory. What are your thoughts? Let me know what you think of the picks, and I hope we can all agree the Browns are just here for the #1 draft pick in this coming year.

  2. I'm not sold on the cowboys yet until the defense starts showing up and we can prove that we can stretch the field with the long ball.

    1. Same can be said about New England. They have a powerful offense but that Defense isn't great.

The NFC is wide open this year. Big D is out in front but do the young boys have staying power? It's yet to be determined. A lot of football left. I personally think any team that can get in the playoffs has a punchers chance and breaking through to the final.

However, all would be underdogs to the Patriots. Brady and Gronk are lights out, if they get back healthy. Again, I said it once, I'm not buying the Raiders this year. It's too soon. Give them another year. Denver's D always makes them a threat for a run late. Chiefs are also dangerous, but they have Andy Reid as a coach, so... Calls too conservative to win the big game.

I'll be honest. I'm shocked that every team in the NFC East has a winning record. People talk crap about it, especially up here in Cincinnati, but its a tough league top to bottom.

    1. The NFC East has surprised most I think. I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 teams pull the wild card teams out of the East. I still stand true that in the NFC Cowboys and Seahawks look the best though.

  4. I think you need to tuck your homer back in. The cowboys are a great team but they've still got to see how dak and zeke can handle the pressure of the playoffs. They still have the Seahawks to deal with and I think the giants are a sleeper.

    My picks:

    Saints over Panthers
    Steelers over Browns
    Cowboys over Ravens
    Lions over Jaguars
    Titans over Colts
    Bills over Bengals
    Chiefs over Buccaneers
    Giants over Bears (H)

    Dolphins over Rams

    Seahawks over Eagles
    Packers over Redskins
    Raiders over Texans

    1. I agree the Seahawks are the greatest threat, they seem to really be coming together as of late. You talk about pressure, I saw 42 seconds straight composure at Heinz Field I think that can stand even in the Playoffs
