Yes, we are again because they are right around the corner. Kids everywhere are thinking about Christmas, and I'm thinking about who's going to play in Houston.
The Cowboys had a tough a tough one on Thursday against a great defense, and they still came out on top. People keep asking will they hit a rookie wall, when will the youth show. The only team right now to clinch the playoffs are the Dallas Cowboys. They keep up what they are doing they won't have to leave the state of TX either once the playoffs start. If they aren't a top contender right now for winning the Super Bowl in your eyes, you may want to call your optometrist. They have a tough game coming up against the only team they've lost to this year in the Giants. I think that's a must watch.
Not much has changed in the picture as of right now. In the NFC the Buccaneers are battling for that 6th slot, but they're several teams still on the bubble. Also in the AFC the Raiders took over the #1 slot there. Keep in mind though the Raiders and the Chiefs play Thursday and I feel that's another must watch. I wrote a blog or two ago that the Chiefs are a sleeper team don't count them out, and the Raiders could now be the best team in the AFC with Brady's primary weapon Gronk out. New England had some significant struggles with dropped balls, but with Brady, you still have a chance.
My predictions:
Raiders over Chiefs
Steelers over Bills
Broncos over Titans
Redskins over Eagles
Dolphins over Cardinals
Panthers over Chargers
Bengals over Browns
Lions over Bears (H)
Texans over Colts
Vikings over Jags
Jets over 49ers
Buccaneers over Saints
Falcons over Rams
Seahawks over Packers
Cowboys over Giants
Patriots over Ravens

I think the world is upside down, Trump won, the army is giving out coloring books and Dallas and Oakland are relevant again. What is most impressive to me though is the fact that Dak has only thrown 2 int'/s and his leading receiver is some guy named Beasley. What?! Having said that the Cowboys still have a tough road ahead. The Giants who I think will beat them tonight, the hot Bucs and an unexpectedly impressive lions team. Having said that they are still my favorite to meet the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Titans over Broncos

Panthers over Chargers
Browns over Bengals
Lions over Bears (H)
Colts over Texans

Giants over Cowboys
Patriots over Ravens
Giants are a hot team right now, but beating a tough Dallas team twice might be a stretch, but not unheard of. Even with NE struggles you have to still count them as a contender with Belichick and Brady

New England without Gronk is dead in the water. I know they have Brady, but he isn't 30 anymore. Gronk is the most important player on that team, and with him sidelined, they're sidelined. The Lions are becoming one of the most dangerous teams in the NFC. If I'm playoff bound, I don't want them. At all. Stafford is lights out!
We have talked before how well Stafford has done without Megatron and that team believes. That makes them dangerous. I do disagree that NE is a wash Brady is still dangerous, but I think this Thursday night game will say a lot in the AFC.
DeleteNot only that look at their record without Gronk and without Brady this year the team still wins. Not to mention having the best coach in the NFL. Throw in a down year in the AFC for top teams and they're still very much in it.
